Dirt Jumping
Dirt jumping is one of the names given to the practice of riding bikes over jumps of dirt or soil and becoming airborne. The idea is that after riding over the 'take off' the rider will become momentarily airborne, and aim to land on the 'landing'.
Dirt jumping is an extreme sport that can get the adrenaline flowing through your body like no other sport. There is nothing like flowing through a series of jumps and having the perfect rhythm.
At the Essex Trials and Jump Centre, we have created runs of jumps that will cater for all abilities, from complete beginners to intermediate riders and beyond.
We discuss our runs of jumps with our riders to ensure we are building the type of jumps that they want to ride. In this way our riders have a real input in the development of the Centre.
In time you will see more development of the jumps. We are currently working on our bigger jumps and this summer we will be constructing a half pipe.
